Wayne and Marcie MeadowsSUCCESS AND FAMILY
Wayne and Marcie Meadows both know the importance of chasing a dream. Both being raised in Oakland, CA, they wanted more in life than their humble lives started with. Marcie first started desiring a dream when she decided that she would be the first to graduate from college in her family. Being the eldest sister, Marcie strived to be the leader and role-model to her four younger sisters. Today, she works as a director of a children's Head Start program, working in the lives of under-privileged children and their families. She also found a great calling in her life as she had the opportunity to travel to different countries around the world as a Christian Missionary. Marcie recalls, "I feel that when I'm around children that learn about the Bible for the first time, I feel a sense of joy and happiness in my life; much like the happiness felt when I see hope come into a new couple's eyes about their dreams with TeamBuilders." From an early age, Wayne too found himself chasing and living out dreams. Before graduating from high school, Wayne had been part of the United States Martial Arts Performance Team, an elite team of the top 25 Tae-Kwon-Do athletes in the nation. Wayne traveled with the team to Europe and other countries to showcase their talents. Wayne also shared a love for baseball, and possessed a great talent there as well, playing throughout high school, and finding a position at the college level, if he chose to do so. For a young star athlete, there were many choices that promised a great road ahead, with the potential to earn high income and gain wide recognition. Wayne was first introduced to TeamBuilders through his parents, Wayne and Margarita Meadows Jr. "Watching Mom and Dad build the business for the family motivated me to think about what was really important to me; without hesitation, I knew it was my family's freedom." So, instead of pursuing martial arts or baseball, Wayne chose TeamBuilders as what he would commit his life to doing. After building the business for a few years, Wayne had shown his best plan yet. As Wayne recalls, "I was showing the plan, and an angel appeared in the room; later I found out that the angel's name was Marcie." Since then, they were married in the fall of 2005, and have been building the business together, and achieving ever since. The pay-offs have been great. Wayne and Marcie have traveled to different parts of the world, and Marcie enjoys being a full-time mother to their three children, Elayne, Wayne IV, and Jayden. Marcie explains, "our lives have been blessed so much with great mentors and friendships in TeamBuilders, and we feel that it is our responsibility to continue to share that blessing with more people." |
